Supported Bridge


let’s continue to release tension in your hip flexors in supported bridge pose

  1. Drop your feet to the mat and bring them hip width apart and parallel
  2. Rest your hands by your sides palms facing down and walk your feet back until your fingertips graze your heels
  3. Inhale press into your heels and lift your hips all the way up
  4. Exhale position a block under your sacrum at the base of your spine
  5. Choose the height of the block that is most comfortable for you
  6. Check that your toes still point straight ahead and take slow restorative breaths deep into your abdomen
  7. Take one more deep breath in
  8. Exhale release the block and lower slowly back down to the mat
